Victor:

What you are posting may be relevant to Dupont, International Paper or General Motors, but it has absolutely no relevance to the new, new economy. Did you see Juniper's numbers? Redback's numbers? Wait till you see Avanex's numbers!!!

If this market is rational, it's the Dow's turn to correct, but the NASDAQ, led by the younger pups, is the ONLY place to put the money. Once everyone figures that out, Avanex will be over 200.

Victor, that may be the case in consumer goods, but not for the optical sector. Optical components, fiber, and in some cases boxes, are sold out for 2 quarters and more into the future as of right now. AVNX is supplying some of the biggest competitors in the space with its technology (CSCO, SCMR, Etc). the sector may take a short term hit, but it will remain relatively expensive to the rest of the market no matter what happens. tp
