Depends on the nature of the trades really - I know I am income and I will not even try and dispoute that - I have about 800 trades this year

Sorry all, guess I should have caught up on the whole thread before the other post.

I had a few hundred trades last year, and they allowed me capital gains, and my accountant advised me to do it that way.

For 2000, I am well over 1000 trades so far, we shall see what happens next spring, but I already have a feeling I'm not going to like what happens.
