Hey Jim,

You may be right. China might try to cheat. There is a lot of evidence that they pirate a lot of stuff like software, videos, music, etc.

I hope you are wrong for a number of reasons. I think that QCOM & the USA will be screaming bloody murder & taking appropriate action if they do try to cheat. It will be bad for the world economy if sanctions are taken IMO. The WTO cannot allow on of the largest countries & markets to be above fair trade rules. There will be no reason for the WTO to exist if they do. Other countries will certainly follow suit. Tensions between many countries will escalate.

It could cause far too many problems to ignore blatant cheating. The WTO would be worthless. Protectionism will rule the day. It could get quite ugly for the global economy.

We will all suffer the consequences if China decides to ignore international rules.

Who knows? Maybe I am a fool...... maybe not.
