Don't trade Dow stocks, so don't see much action to take in any event

Yeah, I guess all the money pouring out of those stocks will be running and hiding in the Naz. <ggg>

Definitely agree regarding political events.

What is the opinion here of the effect of a trillion dollars being poured into the markets in fairly short order?

This would be my guess as the vast majority of a tax cut of that magnitude would likely be in the hands of investor types.

My guess is that we would see fairly rapid market destabilization and powerful inflation stimulus.

I would look for the street to discount a Bush election in very short order with a movement out of equities and into fixed instruments.

One might strongly consider such a strategy at this juncture to lock in gains.

Definitely not optimistic about market prospects with such short term reasoning at the handle.
