MSDW research report on Avanex There is a new research report by Alkesh Shaw & David Jackson from Morgan Stanley, dated Oct 12. At first I thought the report was about the fiber optic sector, but it turns out to be 24 (twenty-four) pages on Avanex only ! I cannot copy the content, but imo this report explains to investors very well the significance of Avanex's technology and its relatively "cheap" valuation today. I do not think, that analysts really have a handle yet on this company's financial outlook and we might see some upward revisions following this week's earnings.
