Gregg if you check back a few posts before the "Interdiction of Haqi" ...it is my own belief that "the Way " be it narrow or windy, is where I can agree. The use of many Holy men, Saints, and Sons of God speak of the path. Christians can claim that Jesus is the only Son of God , but I will there beg to disagree. It is common to that region to couch their prophets as the Mighty of the Mighty , "The One True Only" The Last and Only (Mohammed), "The One True God" , "The Most Powerful Lord of Lords" etc etc. This has been the source of the continuation of Wars , persecution, suffering for endless centuries. Because it is Blind from the start, and caught up in it's own web of turmoil. You have enherited this tradition from a Middle Eastern region that has known forever the competition between the tribes , of who's God and Prophets were the most powerful, and wise , and terrible etc. If you are weak and tiny , the only way you can beat the Pharoh is to claim your God is stronger. These tiny tribes hardly new anything of the great and high evolved religion of Hinduism much farther east, that had already gone beyond and concieved God's first Law, over 3000years earlier. This complete dedication to the Tribes (yours now) belief that there's was the superior God , was and is the cause for so much suffering in that part of the world. It goes all the way back to back to maintaining the tribal identity and is the Law of first belief that anything outside our belief is to be condemned and shunned. These were small, weak little Jealous Semite tribes that were constantly at war and constantly bickering and raiding each other. Peace was rare. And some of them determined to settle where they would be right in the way of the wars between Egypt and her larger foes East. And later on in the way of Rome. They were constantly being over~run. But farther Back were just wandering tribes south of Egypt. When you are talking about God's great world at large , one beyond the tiny boundries of Israel, it is that of the the more open and magnificent spiritual landscape...these theologies borne in an ancient and forever bickering, enslaving, war~riddled region are flawed and doomed to concieve doom as much as they are able to concieve salvation or peace. ---->I LOVE ISSIAH .swords into plough shares It is also now evident this belief system must learn to re~adjust, as the world has no regional boundries any longer and our minds do not have to accept that this or that place is only one Holy Land etc. The entire Earth is the "Holy Land " now my friend....what have those fools been fighting for ....for centuries? (The truest Holy Land is in the heart) In that theology that the soul will perish and be condemned to hell forever is flawed and immature...and carries the weight of originating from stubborn, proud little Tribes that were constantly at odds with other Tribes ....and always at war. Men dreamed of an end to killing ... It is convient to frighten and keep your members in line but has no basis in actual reality. Everyman and woman has a soul that directly emanates from God. You have to remember the source of your Religion . It comes from an original wandering tribe of sheepherders...very stubborn, irrascible , and constantly competing with their neighbors....and so it still goes on today. Jesus's essence was in teaching the way of the heart, thru love and tolerance ....and that i would accept easily with all mine. But when you add on all other manufactured caveats, that make it imperative for you to try and save others who also know that there is a path....that is where you fail. When you speak of their deaths and eternal damnation as a means to convince. It is an ancient trick and sent you by the devil....and an old way of frightening and bothering your neighbors. Every culture in the world knows this without your help. The soul is timeless and part of God ...and should be sought with love, not fear. Christianity unfortunately inherited alot of the ingrediants of fear and terrible raths that was almost second nature very common to that region. Christianity contains some truths and some fables... God manifested his truths in other lands not so caught up in destruction , 1000's of years before. Do you know what his first law to them was? Thou shall not kill. regards Mars
