I agree with you completely, sentience or ensoulement is a religious issue Nice try. I didn't say anything about sentience being a relgious issue. Also I was talking about the child being a member of a sentient species, not actually talking about its sentience at a particular time. I did say ensoulement was a religous issue, but even if I believed that souls do not exist, or that for some reason I believed you did not have one, I would still have no right to kill you. My point was that ensoulement is not the issue in my opinion. Tim
