In debt or not, government takes too much of our money.
If you shared the opinion that government takes too much money when would be an good time for tax cuts? When there is no government debt? When was the last time the US had zero government debt?

Tax cuts do not "go on the credit card". If I made say $50,000, and then my income was cut to $45,000, that $5000 reduction would not be a charge on one of my credit cards. What I should do is reduce my spending (or in my case I could reduce my savings rather then saving money in one place and borrowing at high interest rates somewhere else).
If I don't reduce my spending and I continue to spend above my means, then that spending is what goes on the credit card. Actually even this analogy is inaccurate in that the tax cuts will not cause government revenue to go down. Federal government revenue would continue to increase under Bush's plan.

Remember LA during the Bush-Quayle years?

So now Bush and Quayle are responsible for the LA riots?!?

Tax cuts cause more debt which is not fiscally conservative

So the inverse of this argument would be "Tax hikes eliminate more debt, which is fiscally conservative".

So taking money away from Politicians and putting in people's pockets so they can pay off THEIR OWN DEBT, creates government debt?

AS's argument is quite "provocative"...
