Sir Donkeyman, Yes, it makes you wonder what a child psychologist would think of tax codes, doesn't it? Can you imagine a classroom set up to encourage bad behavior and punish good? Who are the dipsticks that create our tax codes? In the US, it wasn't many years ago that we were "forgiven" for having huge credit card debt and interest expense at tax time. We were "punished" for saving even minimum amounts of money by having to pay tax on interest income! (actually the second is still true) What a different world it would be with more rational thinking involved in such things. In the mean time, I can't complain about my latest TWE share purchases!
