Re: Reuters Poll

There has been little movement in the poll, despite your efforts to gather solace from it. Just 5 days ago, the Reuters poll had the race dead even.

Taken as a whole, the polls are still moving toward Bush and away from Gore. The latest CNN poll has Bush up by 5, the Latest Time poll has Bush up by 5, the latest Newsweek poll has Bush up by 2.

It is still close, by all means, but with 3 weeks to go the pressure is on Gore to change the perceptions that are forming about the candidates character. Taken as a whole, Gore has led for a small portion of this campaign - right after the Democratic convention. What makes you think that Gore's handlers can change this in such a short period of time?
