I'm well aware of the correlation between hardware and software, but I dont believe current processors are any sort of bottleneck towards the voice recognition industry (at least not like they used to be). Before, one of the reasons the industry didnt take off sooner was due to processor constraints, but that isn't a major factor anymore. Therefore, I'm not so sure the P4 will be a crucial driver of growth at NUAN. >>>>Well, if you read any predictions by some of the leaders in the industry including Bill Gates et al you would know that the voice interface is going to be the next big interface to the computer. surely, wap is not going to be<<<< I'm especially convinced at how voice recognition is going to be the "killer" app for wireless internet browsing (as it is tedious to push buttons on your cell phone to get what you are looking for, and even worse when your doing something such as driving a vehicle).
