I would not buy SUNW or EMC here, and INTC at 75 was selling for a historically high multiple. I think many got sucked in with Intel because of the 'we are sold out' statements made over the summer. I guess it's a matter of how one operates, I prefer to buy after a stock has been totally crushed over a period of time. Some prefer to buy when a stock is making new highs, trouble is, any bad news and we see what occurs, like a 200B+ loss in market cap at INTC in no time at all.

To summarize the way most Wall St. analysts look at things:

When business is going well, it will go well forever.

When business is going poorly, it will never get better again.

The Excel spreadsheets are easier to work that way.
