The balance of the new products is weighted positively over the next few quarters. It follows then that the forward P/E is of course lower than the trailing.

Historically, I cannot remember Microsoft trading at any lower than a twenty-something P/E...and this was only during low-growth periods or when there was a major crisis.

We seem to be at the start of some new growth with the new products...coming off a lower-growth period.
