gps & 3G should get alot of attention at the CTIA show. Tomorrow's news releases should be exciting.

I think I made a mistake....the CTIA show (Wireless IT2000) started today. I figured that this would be the big show for the fall and we would see a variety of press releases (particuarly about the ASIC roadmap). Doesnt look like it....

I wonder if Q's relative quiet is associated with the spin-off. When it was originally announced I expected to hear more details about the W-CDMA ASIC by now....

historically, most of the important qcom press releases come on the first day of major shows; as best I remember, there may be some releases tomorrow, but after that no more related to the show

remember, that one reason we should not expect a lot of announcements is that Qcom no longer manufactures or sells infrastructure equipment or handsets, which are featured at these shows.

Does anyone know when Qcom will report? Next Wednesday?
