Tax cuts do go on the credit card. Revenues vs. debt. Very very simple. And you can't pay off the debt by lowering revenues.

This is rapidly becoming a useless "yes they do, no they don't, yes they do" argument ,but no they don't. Just as an income drop isn't a charge on your personal credit card.
Your second point is more sensible, lowering revenue makes it harder to pay back debt, however revenue will increase no matter who is elected president (unless its Harry Browne :).
