The TA that most on this thread use as a foundation was created in the 1800s by Charles Dow. I do believe that the speed with which information is delivered and with which people can react to it, has shortened the cycles significantly. But that does not have relevance to the foundational TA that is used by the majority of people on this thread. Valuation does matter. But so does growth. If growth slows down, than we had better have some value to back it up.
