When Home Box Office first got into business, there was an old-fashioned New-Orleans-style strip tease segment once a week, something like about 10 p.m. Thursday. Last time I took a free subscription to HBO for a month, all there was was either dead serious DRAMA with some people occasionally taking off their clothes, or weirdo things. I think there is a truly inverted guilt-ridden attitude that sex has got to be combined with axe murders. I am especially annoyed at the warning label, "brief nudity." For years I have been saying, "Why not interminable nudity?"

There is a cure, however. Most good art galleries are full of unembarassed nudes.
