MUrali, My experience is having been an alcoholic, and having worked with alcoholics for a number of years. You seemed to overlook the qualification I made of having to seek and accept a higher power, who I choose to call God. Bush has done this step quite well, and has a foundation of sobriety, which includes any alleged drug use, that has proven to be 90% effective in preventing the return to substance abuse.

The premise of this discussion is wrong. Mr. Bush was never an alcoholic. It's an insult because you distort the facts in order to smear his reputation.
