Joe-- You're underestimating the Sh*tan*um. A knowledgeable analyst promised that it and its brethren would be the key to a bright 2001 for Intel.

You've gotta be joking, ship the chip - damn the OS and apps.

For now, all the OS and other problems are with Itanium.

Atleast, they [Intel, Microsoft and others] have real problems to provide real solutions for.
