Eric,

You're underestimating the Sh*tan*um. A knowledgeable analyst promised that it and its brethren would be the key to a bright 2001 for Intel.

I don't know how knowledgeable your analyst is, but in 2001, Itanium will barely show up as an asterisk on the breakdown of Intel revenues. Take it as my prediction.

If Itanium doesn't totally self-destruct, Intel should start to see some revenues in 2002.
