Art So you like the idea of military schools for public education. Discipline that they so sorely miss at home and good strong leadership could help these kids. What is broken about the economic system? Too much socialism would be my guess and the concurrent welfare state. And the answer is more socialism? If these issues were handled on strictly the local school district level some of what you propose might make sense. There would be the requisite accountability and social pressure for solutions. Federal of State controls have lost their credibility.
