If you don't take care of the poor kids with health insurance when they get sick you end up paying anyway, more. They end up in emergency rooms because they never got preventitive medicine. National health insurance in this country will never be any more socialist than our public schools. They are there because we need them but those who can afford better send their kids to private schools. Same in the medical field. You want more and better you get supplemental insurance or pay yourself. It's never going to be perfect but as the effects of Bush's Texas health insurance coevrage record proves we do need more. Actually a lot of it's already there but Texas failed to utilize it. They had to be warned by a federal judge to use it or else. That's how negligent they were. 49th or 50th in the nation in health care for kids. Now that is a woman's issue. And a human issue.
