I am almost always that age in my dreams You are definitely working your dreams to maximum advantage, eh! I had recurring dreams of flying. At first these were simple, but later I kept challenging myself. Eventually I was able to fly/jump to the top of skyscrapers. The frightening part was soaring to the ground from the top, and trusting the flight process while hurtling toward the ground. Harder still, and requiring more trust, was hurtling clear over the tops of these buildings and thus to the ground, or to a landing on another building further down. Later, I began flying upward trying to reach the moon. This was not like the flight of birds, but rather a slow process of pushing the air downwards repeatedly and travelling straight up. I never did reach the moon; it gets frightening as the earth recedes into the distance, and you are left alone in space. It is sort of like swimming off the shore in the ocean toward an island. At some point you reach the point of no return where continuing or returning are both unsafe. Also the air gets extremely thin and virtually disappears. This brings in all sorts of doubts about the safety of airless flight using air flight principles. I have probably only had these dreams a couple of dozen times in my life--and not for a couple of years. In some dreams one becomes both director and subject. These can result in great experiences. If I had any guts I would have gone to the moon, then to Mars, and then struck outward through the Solar System. Likewise, I ought to have struck out for Mercury, and then into the Sun. Very easy in dreams to develop a force field heat shield. The problem is, you never quite trust stuff you don't see nobody else using. I must get back to those dreams...
