Gates and Bush have one feature in common. They control enough money to buy the office. I'm glad you brought up the subject, because it shows that the ONLY thing Bush beats Gore at is MONEY. Bush knows virtually nothing about foreign policy, and he surrounds himself with "thinkers" who think like he does and profess absolute loyalty. In foreign policy, this is dangerous because what one really needs is a person courageous enough not to be a yes man. The Bush foreign policy will be dictated by only one major interest--oil companies. The Bush domestic violence policies will be dictated mainly by one organization--the NRA. Some team.
