I'll go back on my suggestion of a market rejection and say TMTA may be this year's LNUX. All that hype and they're only raising $144m? This could see 300 -- and I'm not talking about market cap -- on IPO day. Check the threads -- the suckers are lining up. (There was speculation on Slashdot, the news-for-nerds weblog site that serves as the forum for the open-source movement, that the VA Linux IPO was Slashdotted {their word for an unintentional DDOS}). I think it was. All those Linux fans with disposable "IT worker" income coming out their serial ports and all neophytes to the stock market.

And here comes VA Linux number two, Transmeta, featuring none other than Linux-superman you-know-who in a humble cameo role.

But I hate predictions, more so making them than even hearing them.

"It's interesting to note that the companies who are scheduling a TMTA based product have investments in TMTA."

But it's hilarious that Toshiba, one of TMTA's major backers, refuses to use anything TMTA makes. Probably have their 144s already filled out and ready to file on Lockup's Eve...because they don't want to take any...
