That's BVSN, isn't it? What's "flat" ? I have RQ, but haven't done any of that "casting" stuff.

ooops, I for got to explain. Chart is a simple 5/8 cross over on a 60min chart for BVSN. The bottom color bar shows when to go long and when to go short based on the simple cross over rules. The top color bar shows if the close is higher than the close x number of bars ago or lower than x number of bars ago. Idea is to only take signal from the bottom bar if color matches upper bar. Amazing how many bad trades it will keep you out of. I am sure with some tuning and a few rules it could do better but just played with it for a few minutes. For what it's worth. boots

Got the explanation...hey, that might be a very useful tool. And BVSN is not one of our better traders. Have you tried this with ISLD or ALGX? And have you varied the x on the top bar at all? Tweak it a bit with some of our better traders and see if the results are similar (keeping us out of whips). I've not done much MAX trading for the past week because of bad signals. This may be a big help to alleviating that... Let us know what you find out... TC
