Hey moron,
We never had a surplus, without counting the social security surplus, until this year. The prosperity, i.e., the slope of the stock market from 91 to Mar 2000, was initiated before willyboy came to office. Maybe the combination of increased taxes and interest rates is why the NASDAQ is down over 30% from its highs. The DJI is down about 13% from its high.knc
