GST - I was bearish way too long last fall as the NAZ took off, but fortunately caught the millenium melt up on QCOM (held it too long though). Early on I failed to recognize the effects of the FED opening the fire hydrants on the Money supply. Maybe this fall is different? No Y2K issues, some inflationary concerns, potential big redemptions in Janus et.al. I'm not betting big, but like you have been playing both sides of these highflyers with tight stops. It's getting awfully crowded in the few stocks that are posting mongo comparisons. If someone yells fire (and it seems that Galvin and Applegate are equivocating), the rush for the exits will be fascinating. One thing for sure, you can't make any money from the long side in the QQQ's if MSFT, ORCL, INTC and the like continue imploding. I intend to play the highflyers small and add big if they start to fall off the table. Mr. Market is doing his best to make this tough, eh?
Best,
