Hyundai Electronics Holds 23.8 Percent Stake in DRAM Chip
Market

October 16, 2000 (SEOUL) -- Hyundai Electronics Industries reported on Oct. 13 that it
now holds a 23.8 percent share of the global DRAM chip market.

The company also holds a monthly wafer production capacity at 350,000 units.

The Hyundai unit expects US$7 billion in sales revenue and to cut debts to 7.7 trillion
won this year.

Hyundai's major products range from semiconductors and telecommunications to
liquid-crystal displays.
