GST - yes, I'd characterize Novellus' results as "mongo". ;0) Perhaps it will be the tell on how the Street reacts to INTC? I bet Novellus' may need some new IR folks after today's early posting debacle.

BTW, if AMZN loses $4 per day for 6 more days, will this thread self-destruct? ;0)

Shares of semiconductor manufacturer Novellus Systems (NVLS:Nasdaq - news), tonight's most actively traded stock, dropped 13 cents, or 0.4%, to $34.75 on Island ECN and fell $1.02, or 2.9%, to $33.86 on Instinet.

After the closing bell, the chipmaker announced earnings of 62 cents a share, in line with the First Call/Thomson Financial estimate and above the year-ago 18-cent profit. Additionally, Novellus said that revenue rose to $359.1 million from $154.9 million in the year-ago period.
