Carranza was one of the early participants who constructively offered his opinions regarding IDC's positioning in the wireless realm after IDC's valuation rose to seemingly inexplicable levels. In hindsight we can see just how valuable his perspective was to holders of IDC's stock, had they taken his (and others such as myself and Molloy's) to heart. Instead Gus put his most abrasive, derogatory and insulting side forward every step of the way. I'm not saying everyone else acted as complete gentlemen but a review of those exchanges will reveal these were not typical "chat spats" that gradually escalated into ugliness. No, the vile abrasiveness was instigated by Gus, not Molloy, not Carranza, and not myself. If you review those exchanges from the beginning you will see this is the truth. Hence, my post "Where's Gus?" and history can explain (but perhaps not justify) the replies that follow. When sincerity is met with vile responses, a persons relationship with the other is changed forever unless a pardon is requested and granted. I don't think any of us are holding our breath waiting for an apology from Gus. He is what he is and I don't think he will be changing soon. In the meantime, I think we will just have to put up with the occasional post that lacks valuable content. This thread is all but abandoned anyway, it's a technology bone-yard around here. The pumpers have been called on all their half-truths, lies and exaggerations, the market has reacted accordingly and all that's left is the naked truth and a few unknowns. In hindsight, the risk/reward ratio of investing in IDC at those lofty levels is all to obvious, the value was in the perspectives of those who understood it early in the game. Bux
