<<Morgan Stanley had to back off their fairness statements because of their involvement. Maybe it is difficult to get a fairness statement for a deal that pays the stockholders $5 for a company that has more than $5 cash and a $6 billion dollar business pulling out of the worst downturn in history. >> How did MS back off? SAhouldn't they be sued for their original opinion? Hope the SEC has the guts to stop this larceny since they can't be bought off like the lawyers. Hopefully the lawyers collected lots of good materfial for the SEC to review.
