RE "Eric, with regard to your goodwill question, at today's depressed price of $9.94, there would not be any goodwill,
or very little;"

Thanks Eddie, it seems that "the market" has already taken
care of the goodwill problem for us.

Eddie, Thanks again for your post.
After doing some more research and reading page 33 I have
come to the agree 100% with your conclusion....

RE "As long as the sector remains out-of-favor and
depressed, seems to me that there is a huge benefit to close at these lower prices."

While I'm not happy as a MTSN long at the recent price
decline, it does seem the market has done us a great
(long term) service. At the current prices we do not
have to worry any more about what was $400 million in
goodwill to amortize.

Great news, and a great buy here at less than 1 times
year 2000 pro forma sales (about .7 if I did the math right).

Beep..... beep..... beep..... beep....
that's the sound of my truck being backed up to load
MTSN shares. :-)
