YadaYada Inc., a startup backed by the likes of General Electric Chairman Jack Welch and former vice presidential candidate Jack Kemp, will be competing with OmniSky, another wireless service provider for the Palm V.

The more the service providers and the bigger the wireless network are, the better for PALM to get more users.

dave, Fujitsu Flash is also AMD. AMd is in a 49.5% joint venture partner with Fujitsu. AMD ceo mentioned Palm is their last conference call as an example of a customer requesting higher density flash chips and increased future orders. It should be interesting to see when Palm starts using the Intel CPU if they also use Intel Flash.
