Fred, John and Thread:

Don Hayes is still quite bearish on the markets. Feels we are only in the concern phase. He does point out sentiment (put/call ratio) is at a level where markets should rally for a few weeks (a buying juncture). Note the indicator he uses tracks back to 94 so this can be the time it doesn't work.

Hi Fred, the consensus was pretty muted, but not
screaming bearish or real bullish, John Murphy felt that
we could have significant more downside.

Robert Miner, who has some really nifty software, was
talking about a possible SPX target of 950-1000 by next
summer or so.
