did anyone see a nytimes article stating Bush was incorrect on 4.7 billion on health care it was only 1 billin that the state spent the other money came from charities.?
I got this email but cannot down load nytimes article.

"Times article was about how Bush exaggerated state spending on health care
for uninsured people in Texas, taking credit for large amounts of charity
care provided by private drs. and hosps. Bush said the state spent 4.7
billion whereas it spent 1 billion with the rest coming from private
charities."

Simpson is an old-time Bush-Cheney crony being used as a surrogate for character assasination. I wouldn't take his dirt-slinging very seriously. About as partisan and biased as you can get. I'm not even going to read the article.
