I put it up at my last house and may be gone by now. Pretty classy lights. I was going to put a ceiling light in the dining room in '85. Haven't done it yet. I agree that Colonial houses need at least a fancy entry to get rid of that boxy look. You should check the codes and what the set back from the street is before you get to involved in a porch. The front of the house may be right on the line. Getting a varience can be a pain.
