Total BS. Neil Bush was brought in right in the middle of it and stayed there for several years. His only defence was that he was naive and out of the loop. A defence which runs in the family (see Irangate). I think the Bushes are smart and know exactly what they are doing. And I believe GW knew exactly what he was doing selling his oil company's stock just weeks before it went belly-up. If you believe these are innocent mistakes you are the one who's naive. It's just the overall mentality, of me-first financial corruption which would bring a taint to the White House. It's the same mentality which brought about the S+L debacle during the Reagan Administration, corruption on such a massive scale that our grandshildren will probably be paying for it after we're gone.
