Hi justone,

I loved the reference to De Toqueville. Now that puts cellular towers in an interesting historical perspective. We do tend to regard any technology frontier as the Wild, Wild West around here, as was suggested. <gg>

Re: I'm not sure more 'modes' causes more towers.
Upon reflection, I'd have to agree. The number of licencees is limited and the trend in the industry is to co-locate multiple systems on the towers of third party infrastructure builders like American Tower.
