Here is how it works.....
Create a solution....WHAT????? NO PROBLEM????? Then create one...and remember, only the govt has the proper mentality for that. Ahhhhh, that's better...now we have a solution and a problem. Life is good. What's that you say?????? We still have a problem?????? Then we must need more regulation......a new law or two. How in hell did we miss that in the first place. New laws always take care of new problems don't they? Backlogged court dockets you say???? Hmmm maybe we need more regulation there...... Highest prison population in history, you say???? It's not what it looks like, really. They are there for "rehabilitation"....soon they will be model citizens....and besides, we monitor them on your behalf :-)

The people advocating hate crime legislation are the same ones who champion the ACLU's expansive protection of the first amendment, backing hate groups like the Nazi party parading down the street. Go figure.

Actually protecting groups like nazi and communist parties rights to protest is one area where I agree with the ACLU. There message should be answered with a message of freedom and tolerence instead of just being forcibly silenced.
