Thought the new economy metrics theory would have been recognized as failure it is by now. It certainly has been in all other areas and it will be in this one too. From the UBS Warberg clown who upgraded today and tries to pass this off as analysis. ``Our new price target is based on 35 (times) calendar 2001 revenues, which is still a discount to other pure-play optical systems companies.'' Some discount, 35 times next years REVENUES. Are you people reading and believing this irresponsible valuation model? CIEN is selling into CLECs. Did you see what happened to CMTN tonight?
