10:31 ET Semiconductor Index : -- Technical -- SOX index crumbles to its lowest level since Dec 99 in wake of bearish industry news. Index currently at 672 and without an unexpected recovery through 700/710 it will remain vulnerable to further decay short term. Next support of interest not found until the 645/635 area. 10:20 ET Nasdaq Composite : -- Technical -- Three day, near 10% recovery rally has left the index in need of a breather on a short term basis. Initial support comes into play at 3270/3260 with a secondary floor at 3225. Aggressive nature of bounce suggests this dip is temporary correction.
