Rick's Cabaret Launches Stripper B2B Exchange ATLANTA, Oct 17, 2000 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas-based Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. (Nasdaq: RICK) became the world's first publicly traded topless entertainment B2B exhange today. The exchange will allow the efficient transfer of strippers between Rick's various locations. Rick, CEO and President of Rick's Cabarets, commented "Our clients demand fresh product on a weekly basis yet want to see their favorites multiple times in a given quarter. These customer demands strain our supply chain and create complex issues only solved through advanced algorithms. This announcement seperates Rick's from the pack by giving us competitive advantage towards reducing customer churn and clearly seperates us in terms of having the freshest, most choice product on the market." Built from the gound up, consulting partner Price Waterhouse Coopers chose to bypass such consensus thinking as using best of breed technologies and instead chose technologies from Computer Associates' Platinum division. It turns out that Flip Fillipowski had developed such vertical expertise in his days as Platinum's CEO. Flip was unavailable for comment but is rumored to have a competing exchange in his Divine Interventures incubator stable. ---
