Facts: The semi market is marginally slowing. Glossy earnings expectations for many semi stocks are being adjusted downward. The market is climate is still negative. The direction of the semis, except for a few darling telecom semis, is down. We may hit bottom soon or we may not. A lot of "investors" on this board are in love with technology for technology's sake. So much so that they ignore what the stock price is telling them. For long term investors, this may be a great time to buy tech stocks. Other sectors are better for the short term, imo.

I'm looking at AMD at $18 as an opportunity to earn above average ROI in Y2001 or before...Trying to free up some addditional cash this week to add to base while below $20...
