To come up with ideas on how to live comfortably, safely and securely without guns

What makes you think anyone should HAVE to live without guns?

I live comfortably, safely, and securely WITH guns...and I don't hunt.

Wouldn't it be easier and more uplifting to [re]learn how to live comfortably, safely and securely *with* guns?

...just a thought.

Sadly, the goose together with the thrust of my post has flown over you.

Point: good guys turn in guns....... bad guys don't. Bad guys are then emboldened to victimize the good guys who they know don't have their guns anymore.

It may work in countries where there were few guns to start, The US became a frontier country when guns already existed and almost all settlers had them for protection in the wild, hunting and prior to organized law enforcement. It's ingrained history and therefore difficult to turn back the clock.
