People in American hate bravado, they despise anyone who displays some hubris & I understand that. Going against the grain and breaking away from the pack; let alone taking any "live time" stand on any market issue, or event - disrupts the traditional comfy Koffee Klatch environment where everyone can tell each other their fish stories each morning.... nothing much more, or less than that. Go to any thread anywhere on the internet; let anyone say anyting negative, let alone come out wearing the Bear Cape & the food fights start... talk about "shorting" anything , on virtually any thread & the attacks soon follow. Numerous traders here on SI have been wiped out; literally decimated by trying to catch this tech bottom here . Broken, broke - out of the game. So how do you expect my pro-Gold & anti-market bubble posts; which are far-far from being mindless hype & drivel; are going to be greeted. Bullsky's smart; he smells what's cooking out there; but rather than be a target of all the food fights - he's just sitting back & laughing I'd imagine. Me ? not my style; never has been. Every single time I've ever spoken about taking profits & rotating, or going to cash; people get pissed here; as if "I" literally am impacting their personal portfolio's ? Princess di & Ed here talking about "my" AGENDA ? - my agenda ? - get a freeking clue to life. What stocks have I mentioned of late ? ATW GLBL MRL DO OXY NEM ? - are you going allude that I, or anyone else on ANY internet message board anywhere is going to influence a single damn tic on any of these issues's ? - if you are; you need a shrink... and a full service broker & a court order baring you from any further individual stock trading (VBG)... This is about petty jealousy, it's a weird look at this strangely evolving behavior on stock message boards - where investing has taken on more of a look of an "electronic" sportsbar - with people breaking into fights over who scores & covers the point spread... insane, but all the more amusing... Everyone hated Casisus Clay - for his bravado; untill he over the course of time he just kept on winning and became the beloved Muhammud Ali; everyone hates the guy who does the Billy White Shoes Johnson Touch Down Dance in the end zone, they hate the trash talker after the slam dunk, the guy who celebrates during the home run trot etc... nothing new here; petty neurotic jealousies playing themselves out online... nothing more, nothing less. The more releveant information & economic indicators that I cite in supporting my long gold & short tech position; they more personal the criticisms of me get; the more right I am - the more the truth gets distorted... I've not talked individual stocks much, but rather the macro picture of the reality of global economics & the sheer denial of the US Equity Bubble and how we seem to want to ignore history and any cycle that is longer than a music video... This new paradigm investing, this greed & lack of emotional control in making online trading nothing more than another kind of slot machine addiction needs a cure and only a very, very harsh & brutal lesson will get the message across... sorry, but no pain - no gain....and there's a whole lotta hurt still comin' people... so excuse me; because I not only plan to profit from your loss and your pain; I'm going to celebrate it... because anyone long this gambling-junkie NAZ bubble; literally deserves to lose it all & get taken out of the food chain & deservedly so imho.... survial of the fitest/law of the jungle - the greedy shall perish & what have I allway said: Pigs get Fat, but Hogs get Slaughtered... ... pass the bacon please ~ PS - margin dept $250 Billion here today ! only 10% less than the Mania days of Dec 1999 !..... ya gonna get crushed here people.... sub 2000 - get over it.
