It contains as a basic premise that humans are too dangerous and unreliable to be trusted with guns. I don't want to put anyone in a position to dictate that sort of philosophy to me.

Although I am not a gun owner myself, and have never felt strongly about the issue, I must congratulate you on the best argument I have seen on the subject. Thanks.
