Mike I couldn't agree more. My only worry (and that of most bears) is does this happen soon or do the bulls manage another mega-rally that postpones the day of reckoning again.
My bet is the money is not there for another mega-rally and we grind lower with a possible crash in the near future.
But the market has been so resilient and the powers have been so strong that I can't help but worry a little.
Look at the ramps at the likes of CSCO, MSFT and even INTC.
Look at IBM green now. A lot of money is thrown to arrest this slide. You can be sure a lot of effort will be put into spinning todays' results as bullish no matter what they are. Will they fail? I like to think so. But I can't help but worry a little.
Eventually this credit bubble will collapse. That I am certain of. Unfortunately "eventually" won't cut it when dealing with puts.
