One thing that bothers me about some forecasts that are bullish for natural gas prices is this argument:

"People are using more computers and the Internet is an increaingly busy place and this causes growing demand for electricity and this will assure firm natural gas prices."

One small window air conditioner uses as much power as about six desktops, or maybe a hundred laptops.

Now the way I am invested, I obviously have confidence in persisting high NG prices, but I sure don't like the Internet-energy-eating argument.

On the other hand, if some of these people who are losing their shirts on Yahoo, AMZN, etc want to speculate in natural gas as a way of playing the Internet, who am I to complain. But it may mean that the time to sell will come sooner than I had expected.
