>>Do you know that the "average" investor in AMZN made a lot of money? LOL<<

it truly is a pity that some people naively believe this crock of crap. amzn has destroyed so much wealth as to be a crime if the participants weren't so excited about being robbed!

some poor shmuck has been buying amzn all the way down b/c:

1. he didn't want to "miss the boat"
2. market leaders "always" go up
3. didn't want to miss the "new economy"
4. bought books from amazon for xmas
5. wanted to retire oin 3 months
6. heard this internet "thing" was going to be huge.
7. heard etoyz was partnering with amzn and etoys wouldn't "do something stupid"
8. the motley fools have been recommending amzn for the last 90 points it has been falling and they "know" what they are talking about b/c the have a radio show
9. everyone else did it!

and the #10 reason why the shmuck bought amzn all the way down...

10. his gardener retired two years ago b/c he put $10k into amzn's ipo.

Glenn: In the long run in all comes out in the wash -- except that $50 million from Bezo's..... At
least he does not have to drive that old Honda anymore. Do you know that the "average"
investor in AMZN made a lot of money? LOL

I know you were teasing but the average investor in AMZN lost money. There are the insiders and there are thf ew that bought shares at the IPO. I had decided to leave that debate alone;-)
